About the Program: Why BBA(Hons) @ AU
As management lies at the heart of business world and is a critical area of study for business concerns, the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at AU aims to deliver the core ideas of management and implications of these ideas to businesses their environment, preparing graduates for a variety of stimulating careers. The program provides the quantitative and analytical skills that enable students to succeed in a wide variety of business activities. The program is based on flexible arrangement of study strengthened by research and innovative learning pedagogies, which advances a student’s ability to develop academic and practical insights into the domain. The graduates of BBA will be highly employable in both corporate and public sectors.

Program Outcomes (PO’s)
PO 01: Domain specific knowledge and skills/acquire knowledge of core management theories and blend it with broader business domains including finance, marketing, human resource, entrepreneurship, international business and market research
PO 02: Problem Analysis and Critical thinking/develop skills necessary to analyze business and economic data, think critically on alternatives and propose viable solutions
PO 03: Modern IT Tools/become proficient in using spreadsheet, word and PowerPoint for data analysis, documentation and presenting information in meaningful manner

At the end of 2nd Year, the students are required to opt for two electives in the order of their preference. For each elective, they must study two courses in the Semesters V and VI. Allotment of electives shall be based on aptitude and merit of the student and availability of the seats.
The students must also undertake Summer Internship Training/Project at the end of 2nd Year for a period of 6-8 weeks, during the months of May, June & July. During the internship the students are required to learn about the realities of work environment. They are required to submit a training report for evaluation/assessment. Successful completion of the internship shall facilitate the students to be rated for 2 credits.
The students must undertake a Dissertation/ Live Project worth 4 credits during the Semester VI. Unlike internship, the dissertation project work must be conducted on a topic chosen from the elective area of specialization in which the student wants to build his/her career. The student is also required to submit a detailed report to the school/university and present the work to the faculty panel for evaluation/assessment.
- Candidates must have passed senior secondary examination or 12th from any recognized institute or university.
- They must have scored at least 50% to be eligible for admission.
- Adamas University conducts AUAT BBA (Hons) admission.
- Selected candidates will be called to the campus for further admission rounds such as personal interview and group discussion.
