School of Management, Adamas University, Barasat, Kolkata had a Board of Studies meeting on Saturday 27th July 2019 to consider and approve the revised curricula for BBA as well as MBA courses of School of Management based on current industry requirement.
The basic functions of the Board of Studies conducted by SOM are to recommend courses of studies for teaching and examinations scheme in their respective subject and to recommend books and reading materials for the concerned subjects in order to bring balanced growth of the department.
Dr. Arunava Narayan Mukherjee, Executive Director at Bonhomie India, and Dr. Santanu Mukherjee, Chief Operating Officer Dygitech are the two visiting experts of the panel organized by SOM. Prof. Gouranga Patra, Associate Professor, SOM and Prof. Chinmaya Kumar Dash, Associate Professor, SOM are the convenors for the meeting. The members consider the revised curricula and discussed different issues. The discussions are very enriching, and lot of relevant points are discussed.
