Ms. Sapana Mishra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce.
She has completed her M.Com. from University of Calcutta. She is a qualified Company Secretary and an Associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). She has also cleared UGC-NET in Commerce. She has also completed Diploma in Financial Accounting System from Youth Computer Training Centre. She is now pursuing her doctoral research from the Department of Management of University of Calcutta. She has published many research articles in National and International Journals of repute and has also presented research papers in different National and International conferences in India. She is also one of the principal contributors in student’s workbook of Law and Ethics and Corporate Laws meant for intermediate and final level students of Institute of Cost Accountants of India. She has also acted as a speaker in webinars on various Company Law matters conducted by Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Her key areas of interest are Corporate Accounting, Financial Management, Investment Management and Law. Her research interest lies in Corporate Sustainability, Corporate Governance, Foreign Direct Investment and Employee Benefits and its impact on financial performance.
She has around four years of teaching experience in different reputed colleges in Kolkata. She also has more than one year of industrial experience in Secretarial compliances, XBRL, Annual filings and Direct and Indirect tax compliances. She joined Adamas University in 2018. She was awarded as the Best Faculty in the Department of Commerce for the session 2018-19 by Adamas University.
