On 27th March 2019, a session was organised by School of Management, #AdamasUniversity on ‘GIS and Digital Business Strategy’ chaired by Dr Somnath Chaudhuri, Erasmus Scholar (Geospatial Technology) University of Munster, Germany, a former lecturer of Maldives National University and former Sr. Lecturer Royal Thimphu College, Bhutan.
In the session students were introduced to the concepts of GIS and its usability in digital business strategy. The most interesting part of the session was exploring real time information using real time GIS application tools like weather forecast, cyber attack, land survey and many more.
